Where Anyone Can Be Anything
One of my favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios films released so far this year has definitely been Zootopia. It’s a smart and witty film that really pushes for female leads in power, without being aggressive and snotty. I love it! My kids seem to love Zootopia too. They’re always taking turns role-playing “going savage”. I think it’s kinda funny, but they laugh and squeal every time they play and I’m all about them laughing! When TOMY sent us a really amazing Zootopia Police Station Playset to review – we hopped (haha get it?) at the opportunity to have hours and hours of fun creating new adventures and recreating scenes from the movie!

The Zootopia Police Station is the headquarters for all ZPD officers. It’s where Judy Hopps gets her assignments, where Chief Bogo’s office is, and where Clawhauser eats his sprinkle donuts. The Zootopia Police Station Playset is the perfect opportunity to allow our future Zootopia police officers to use their imagination for great open-ended play. Each playset comes with a 3 inch Clawhauser figure with poseable arms, legs and neck. It also comes with a 1 inch safety squirrel who flies the mouse helicopter with rotating propeller. My favorite aspect of the Zootopia Police Station Playset is the projector that simulates a computer monitor with three images that are changed by a dial. The kids were amazed! The whole playset comes to life with lights and sounds of sirens and dispatch announcements too. My daughter loves the sliding elevator doors and my son loves opening and closing the jail door!
