Follow The Yellow Brick Road…To Candy
The kids were characters from the Wizard of OZ this Halloween and it turned out perfectly. Actually they wore these same Wizard of OZ kids costumes last year as well but I wasn’t able to get a picture of them all together. Something about life and stress got in the way I think. haha. Sadly, this may be the last year of getting them all to coordinate Halloween costumes. As it was my oldest son only wore the tin man costume long enough for this picture before he changed into a SWAT costume. I may be able to convince them to go as Alice in Wonderland next year but we will see.
This was our first holiday in our new house and town and it was so fun to meet new neighbors (and to check out their digs). Unsurprisingly since we bought in an “older” neighborhood there weren’t many children trick-or-treating which turned out to be rad because the kids got gobs and gobs of Halloween candy!
I still want to take better individual pictures of each of them in their costumes and hopefully I can do that soon. Although each of these costumes were store bought you can’t tell because they’re all so cute!
If I am able to get them to coordinate again next year, what theme do you think they should go as?

These are adorable! We had a Wizard of Oz birthday party for my daughter’s 8th birthday and it was a blast. I saw some super cute Alice in Wonderland coordinated costumes this year. Or board games!

I think you could do a “Peter Pan” theme right ? You’ve got Peter, Tinker Bell, Hook, Wendy ?
