A Little Tale About A Fast Ride
It was a beautiful May morning, the birds were chirping, the air was cool and we were excitingly headed down to San Diego to spend a day with some wild animals. Well, that is to say that we were very quickly heading down to San Diego (too quickly I might add). You can probably guess the rest of this tale, but I’ll tell it to you anyway. I’m not sure what I was thinking as I was travelling down the freeway so quickly, I am certain that I wasn’t thinking clearly when I stepped on the gas and way past the speeding limit and sped around the car in front of me. So of course I was pulled over by a very nice officer and given a speeding ticket.
My house is always very clean and organized, however, my car is always a huge, disgusting, monumental, cesspool of nasty kid mess. When I was pulled over for speeding down the freeway in San Diego I couldn’t find my recent car registration. The problem was probably the mounds of old french fries and cheddar crackers and loads of trash. The police officer looked at me like I was nuts as I panicked wondering if we even registered my car (of course we had but in the heat of the moment all I could visualize was me being taken off to jail for driving an illegal car ((if that’s even a thing)). I was able to find a car registration that was 4 years old, but nothing recent. Thankfully, the police office was cool enough to write down my information while I continued to dig in the trash heap that is my car looking for my current registration. Because of my embarrassingly awful speeding ticket experience, I have come up with a quick XX to do when you get a speeding ticket that will hopefully help you to avoid traffic lawyers.
What To Do When You Get A Speeding Ticket
- Keep A Copy Of Your Current Car Registration and Proof of Car Insurance in a plastic sleeve or envelope in a very organized glove compartment of your car. The holders are super easy to find and super cheap on Amazon.
- Don’t Panic! It’s going to be ok.
- Don’t Speed! Like ever! It’s definitely not worth the money or the hassle.
- Pay Your Fine ASAP
- Attend an Online Traffic School, it’s so much easier!
Online Traffic School
As you know, I have almost 10,000 kids and a husband that’ll sometimesbutnotalwayswilling watch our children. Therefore I was in desperate need of a fast and easy traffic school option. I found a very fast and easy online traffic school course online at easiestcourseallowed.com. After getting the hang of the questions, I was able to complete and pass my traffic course within an afternoon. All from the comfort of my own office!
In conclusion, drive safely and well within the posted speeding limits. But if all else fails and you get a speeding ticket regardless, keep your info all together in a nice organized car and take an online traffic school! Best of luck my friends!

Desiree, you post on speeding tickets was insightful. I liked how you shared your own experience getting a speeding ticket. Something my grandpa used to say is to not be afraid to ask for help if you’re unsure how to handle any legal problems.
