Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: Your favorite!

Me: Whatever you want to do is fine with me. How can I make you the happiest?
Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: Your favorite!
2006 – Year 3:
Me: What do you think? What sounds good to you?
Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: Whatever you’d like!

Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: A frozen lasagna
2008 – Year 5:
Me: We can go here for dinner, the baby likes their chicken. I’ll make the babies dinner and I’ll make your dinner at the same time.
Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: Canned soup
2009 – Year 6:
Me: The toddler is eating his vegetables see? You should try them too, they won’t kill you. What do you mean you don’t like vegetables?
Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: Chicken, rice pilaf and Vegetables
2010 – Year 7:
Me: I’ll feed the baby and the little boy; you can make your own dinner. While you’re at it, make my dinner too.
Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: Whatever you’re making
2011 – Year 8:
Me: I’m pregnant; I have a toddler and a little boy, go wash the dishes. I don’t know what we’re having for dinner.
Him: What’s for dinner?
Me: Food
2012 – Year 9:
Me: STFU I don’t care if you don’t like it, eat it anyway. STFU too bad, you’re going whether you like it or not.
Him: What’s for dinner?

Yes, that pretty much sums it up… in other words kids added to the equation change everything… including our level of tolerance and energy… I liked year #7. Of course here it would either be take out or sandwiches! haha… Although he does make a killer hamburger helper “cheesy enchilada” haha
Desiree Eaglin says
Hamburger helper is my husbands specialty too. haha

Yes, Yes & Yes!!!! This is right on sister! My hubby is going through that phase where he’s feeling left out. I do everything for the kids and he gets the back burner. Although, I did make him the Year 6 Dinner last night!
Desiree Eaglin says
I used to make him meat and potatoes. Every night. Now he has to eat what is best for the kids. And what the kids like. He hates that 😉

#Truth! The hubster is happy when he gets an entree AND a side when I make dinner. It’s bad enough that I’m not the best cook. Couple that with not wanting to do it, well it’s just a sad time at our home.
Desiree Eaglin says
My husband is extremely picky. He would prefer meat and potatoes, I make healthy food the kids will eat. He hates it, but TOO DAMN BAD! haha
Aracely says
Desiree, woman you crack me up.! This is so right on woman!
