Club Penguin is an online multi-player virtual game world for kids ages 6-14 (however, my 5 year old LOVES to play and my 2 year old LOVES to watch). The social avatars are adorable waddling penguins which have the ability to talk with each other, change clothes, play games and explore.
The annual Halloween party at Club Penguin is the largest online Halloween event for kids. In this year’s annual Club Penguin Halloween party, players will have the chance to solve the mystery of ghost-researcher Gariwald VIII’s disappearance and uncover the secrets behind Walt Disney Parks haunted mansion!
The 2012 Club Penguin Halloween party will feature an all new 9-room Haunted mansion that was inspired by the Haunted mansion at Disneyland. Players will have the opportunity to get freaky with scavenger hunts, get eerie with fun Halloween costumes, partake in spooky ghost hunts and SO MUCH MORE.
I realize that this is “supposed” to be a game for children, but I have to confess that I absolute adore it. Me…I mean “PlanetDott” has been at the Club Penguin Halloween Party for a few hours now. It’s easy to play and very enveloping. I can’t stop buying Halloween costumes!
The annual Halloween party at Club Penguin is free to play, there are also memberships available to unlock specialnesses (that’s totally a word!).
