Long gone are the days of taking a picture and not seeing the result until you develop the film, those days are a distant past, so far away they’re barely an audible whisper. Long gone are also the days of taking a digital picture and not being able to share it on social media until you upload the pictures onto your computer. The future is wifi cameras, with high tech capabilities, cool features and are super family friendly. The future of camera technology is smart cameras like the Samsung WB200.
The ability to skip the uploading pictures to the computer step in the social picture sharing process increases my daily life efficiency. Sure, I like taking pictures with my mobile phone, but nothing beats a real camera’s picture quality. The Samsung WB200 offers the best of both worlds. The accessibility of a mobile phone and the picture quality of a real camera.

As an avid photojournalist, I am always on the lookout for smart cameras. The Samsung WB200 is one of the coolest point-and-shoot cameras I have come across. The 18x zoom lense is super clear, the friendly userbility of it is so supberb even my 6 year old is a pro at using it. Hands down my favorite feature is the wifi capabilities of the Samsung WB200 and it’s easy to connect to a network too. Simply download the app on your smartphone and the Samsung WB200 and your phone will find each other, hang out, have a chat and share your pictures all over the internetz in lightening fast speed.

My 6 year old has tried to adopt the Samsung WB200 as his own, much to my chagrin. It is so easy to use, he figured it out within minutes and took a gazillion pictures. Here is my favorite of his pictures.

Given the opportunity to receive this camera for review purposes, I dropped my bags and ran (yes, RAN) to Walmart to pick it up. Walmart is my go-to electronics destination. You can find exactly what you need for a fraction of the cost of other stores. I mean, why go anywhere else? Really?
Now that you’re set on purchasing your very own Samsung WB200 because of all of its awesomesauceness, log on to check out the Samsung Smart Cameras now to check it out.
You can find Samsung on Facebook and Twitter too.

I must admit that as a photographer my first place to buy cameras is usually NOT Walmart. However, when it comes to simple point and shoots, I will consider those retail outlets for the convenience, especially when I know what I want.
This looks like quite the awesome camera to have. Kinda makes me wish I didn’t buy a new point and shoot a couple months ago! Haha. Just for giggles though I might have to go out to the store soon and fiddle around with it. Darn camera nerds. LOL

Walmart always has great prices, especially when you know what you want and have shopped around.

I bought this camera… can someone tell me is there a feature for FORCED flash? I don’t like that I can’t choose when my flash goes off. Also, how can I log off FB and log on as a different user?
Desiree Eaglin says
This particular camera has a pop up flash, so I think that if you don’t want the flash just keep it down perhaps. I am not sure about switching FB users, sorry!
