Santa is about to sled his way into the Irvine Park Railroad Christmas train station. This Christmas, take your family on a magical ride through the historic Irvine Park on the Irvine Park Railroad Train to the “North Pole” where the jolly man himself will greet you with a warm smile and a hefty laugh.
While at the “North Pole, you can sip on some warm hot chocolate that is available to purchase as you wait your turn see the jolly man. The wait isn’t long and once you see him, your children can give him their Christmas list and take plenty of pictures.
Once back at the station, your children can listen to a story read by Mrs. Claus herself, decorate cookies, play carnival games, jump in the moon bounce and much more (some activities require activity tickets) . It really is a wholesome, fun Christmas evening for the whole family.
I ADORE this family tradition and I find it so much more magical and cheerful than visiting Santa Claus at the mall. The train ride to the North Pole always fills my son with so much eager anticipation that is clearly visible in his face; it makes my heart so happy. I cannot wait to see how my daughter reacts to the magical fun this year, as you can see in the photo she wasn’t so thrilled last year.
