Blue Shield of California Foundation’s #BeTheSolution campaign is spreading the message that domestic violence is everyone’s issue to tackle. It is a scary statistic that 1 in 4 women in California will experience domestic violence within their lifetime. These domestic violence victims may be afraid to speak up or unable to seek help, or can’t find support when they need it most. Something as simple as knowing the signs of an abusive relationship can help everyone Be The Solution in identifying, addressing, and stopping domestic violence.

I have not personally experienced domestic violence, however I pledge to be an advocate for those that have. No one should be afraid of their spouse and no one should get hurt. We can all help be the solution again domestic violence by being able to identify domestic violence when it happens. We must work together to break the cycle of domestic violence. Join the movement and #BeTheSolution
