ralph breaks the internet press conference
Wrecked in 90210
A few weeks ago, the Ralph Breaks the Internet was held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. I was fortunate enough to be in attendance as a member of the press (I just love saying that, it makes me feel fancy!). I leap at the opportunity to see actors and filmmakers in real life to learn more about films and the film making process. Ralph Breaks the Internet is Walt Disney Studios only second sequel in history (2nd only to The Incredibles). In theaters nationwide Wednesday November 21st, Ralph Breaks the Internet is just as good (if not better) than Wreck-It Ralph.
Wrecked Stars
The Ralph Breaks the Internet press conference was jam-packed full of the funniest comedians, best filmmakers and bright stars of the film.
- Writer and director Phil Johnston
- Director Rich Moore
- Sarah Silverman (Vanellope von Schweetz)
- John C. Reilly (Ralph)
- Taraji P Henson (Yesss)
- Jack McBrayer (Fix it Felix)
- Pamela Ribbon (Writer and Snow White)
Real Emotion in Real Time
When it comes to portraying real emotion in a animated film, no one can succeed like Walt Disney Studios can. Ralph Breaks the Internet is a surprisingly emotional film with a fantastic story line and moral. John C. Reilly attests that what sets this film apart is that feeling of heart and real emotion. That is only conceived by looking into each other’s eyes while recording.
The Internet According to Ralph’s World
When it came to creating the internet in a physical (albeit cartoon) form, filmmakers Rich Moore and Phil Johnston envisioned an old city like Rome or Istanbul where the ancient city is buried deep beneath. A “city” that is multi layered with the newest and biggest websites on top of the old forgotten stuff down at the bottom. Seeing the internet as Rich Moore and Phil Johnston envisioned it was one of my favorite aspects of the film. They really hit a home run when it came to up-to-date internet popular culture references.
Ralph Breaks the Internet will be in theaters nationwide Wednesday November 21st 2018!
