Unleash Your Photos
Who else here is guilty of taking zillions of pictures with your mobile phone and then never printing them out, thus leaving those invaluable moments of time forever locked in the digital world? I will raise both of my hands to admit that I am terrible at printing pictures out; I take several pictures daily and they have been locked in my digital files forever. Allow me to introduce you to Polaroid Fotobar – a brand new micro store launching in Southern California that is single-handedly unleashing your photos from the dark depths of your mobile phone instantaneously.
Instant. Awesome.
Polaroid Fotobar micro stores are launching exclusively in California and the Los Angeles area over the next few weeks, beginning with the first location that just opened at Westfield Culver City. Two more Los Angeles area stores will open in early December in Canoga Park (Westfield Topanga) and Arcadia (Westfield Santa Anita). My oldest daughter and I were in the area just a few weekends ago so we stopped by the Polaroid Fotobar location in Westfield Culver City to check it out. The innovative 300-square-foot micro-stores are instantly recognizable by their cube shape and iconic Polaroid colors. Customers are invited to take a seat at the Fotobar and transform their pictures instantly from their smartphone, Facebook or Instagram into three different size Polaroid pictures which can be collected in unique Polaroid shadowboxes or other Polaroid picture accessories. Professional and knowledgeable retail associates known as “Fototenders” are available onsite to help at every step of the way.
Polaroid Fotobar uses 8 color HD printing process to print directly onto ultra thick, non-bendable, silky mat board to create the highest quality Polaroid Picture. The pictures come in your choice of 3 sizes (from original small all the way to XXL). Then you can display them in the popular shadow boxes or other Polaroid Fotobar merchandise. When you visit a Polaroid Fotobar micro store location you can have your pictures printed up in about a half hour or if you don’t want to wait you can have them sent to your home. Best yet, each Polaroid Fotobar picture is only $1. Cool right?
Our Polaroid Fotobar Experience
The Saturday that my daughter and I went to the Polaroid Fotobar at Westfield Culver City was crazy busy, as expected for a revolutionary store during the busiest shopping season of the year. However the wait for an open computer only took about 15 minutes. Once we were seated, it was very quick to set up a Polaroid Fotobar account and log in to my social media channels. The “Fototenders” and manager Jay on site were outstanding and totally made the experience outstanding.
Polaroid Fotobar is all about recapturing the magic and instant gratification of creating cherished pieces of art with your pictures – Warren Struhl, the company’s founder and chief executive officer
