Boys Night Out
Since I’ve been doing so many activities with the girls lately, I decided to treat just my boys to a night of their type of fun. Last week I took my boys and a friend to see Vampirate’s Dinner Adventure in Buena Park, California. It was our first time attending a Pirates Dinner Show and we were blown away! I kept the Vampirate’s Dinner Adventure a surprise from the boys until we arrived. They had no idea what they were in for but man did they love it. We were given tickets for review purposes, all opinions are our own.
Ahoy Ye Scallywags!
If you’re looking for something fun to do with your family this Halloween in Orange County you must go to the Vampirate’s Dinner Adventure. Located just down the street from Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park, the completely audience interactive 2-hour dinner show is full of really great food and really fun entertainment. There was never a dull moment!
Dress Up For Extra Fun
Vampirate’s Dinner Adventure will have a costume contest every showtime for ghouls and goblins of all ages. Costumes have to be family friendly with no weapons or masks. The dad of the family that sat in front of us dressed up in a full-blown Winnie The Pooh costume and won the contest!
Gobble It Up
I mean, I don’t know about you but everything is about the food for me. Luckily this crazy good four-course feast was delicious and filling. My favorite was the dulce de leche spice cake!
Completely Interactive Audience
I didn’t know what to expect from the Vampirate’s Dinner Adventure. What surprised me the most was the great choice of modern music, the storyline was pretty interesting and there was never a time when the audience wasn’t asked to be interactive. The stage of the show is a giant boat and sections are created in a horseshow pattern around the boat. Each section is a different color where audience members are asked to be loud and cheer to “win” and root on your sections pirate. It may sound complicated but it is not! It’s genuinely very fun and kids 5 years old and up will love it.
