There’s nothing that screams summer time to me more than a BBQ meal after a long day in the pool as a family. There’s just something so childhood reminiscent of the smell of the BBQ and the authentic grilled taste of a really good grilled corn and I love that my husband and I are keeping up that tradition with our own family. I love watching my husband (who is the self-proclaimed “grill master”) cook us up a delicious and tasty meal on our BBQ. He has become quite the skilled Kingsford charcoal BBQ starter too.
Now that Father’s Day is literally right around the corner, we have been preparing to have an ultimate BBQ feast in celebration of my husband. Isn’t Father’s Day national grilling day anyway? (haha). My husband is the rock solid core of our family and anytime that I have the opportunity to reward him for his hard work with a delicious BBQ I take it!
Since my children and I love, love, love fresh corn on the cob I just had to share with you guys how to make perfectly grilled corn with Kingsford Charcoal. Kingsford Charcoal gives off maximum authentic grilled flavor with charcoals that cook evenly and perfectly every time and that’s because Kingsford Original Charcoal has been the gold standard of grilling for 100 years (100 years of grilling!!). Each charcoal brick is made with natural ingredients and real wood, resulting in the authentic smoky flavor that my family and I love.
Being a homeowner means that you’re no stranger to The Home Depot amiright? When we recently put our house on the market to sell, we went to The Home Depot every weekend to pick up a various amount of things. The Hope Depot is quite literally the definition of carrying everything home related under one roof. Recently I popped in to pick up the Kingsford Charcoal Original Briquettes twin pack because we are some serious grillers.

How To Grill Perfect Corn On The Cob
Ingredients:
Fresh Corn on the Cob
Kingsford Original Charcoal
Butter to taste
Directions:
Light up your Kingsford Charcoal barbecue
Pull down the outer husks of the corn and remove all of the silk threading.
Replace the husks and soak the entire ear of corn in a large bowl of water for 10 minutes.
Shake off excess water and place corn on the cob onto the barbecue.
Close the barbecue and allow to cook for 10 minutes (turning once half way).
The corn on the cob is done grilling once the kernels are soft to puncture.
Remove the remaining corn husks and enjoy!

I have never grilled corn, but this looks great! I love that I don’t have to heat up the house by turning on the stove! We’ll be trying this for sure!
