Game Play!
Last week the kids and I were invited to check out the all-new Nintendo Kirby Robobot game. The event which debut the new game was held at Lightbox at Smashbox Studios in Culver City. There were several well-known Disney Channel celebrities and YouTube stars in attendance as well as some of my most favorite fellow blogging friends. It was a wonderful event to socialize while really experiencing Nintendo Kirby Robobot game play. This is a sponsored post on behalf of KidzVuz, all opinions are my own.
GIANT Kirby!
A gigantor inflatable Kirby stood watch over the event held at Lightbox in Smashbox Studios in Culver City. He truly set the fun-filled mood of the event with his big, pink bubble self riding atop a yellow star. To experience Nintendo Kirby Robobot game play, there were several pink and yellow bean bag pod stations with pre-loaded Nintendo 3Ds’s. Naturally, my children gravitated towards the over sized bean bags like moths to flame.
Playing the Game!
I didn’t hear even hear a peep out of my 9 year old son for the duration of the Nintendo Kirby Robobot event, which was a breath of fresh air from his usual complaining and belly aching. My oldest daughter (who is 5) played the game for about half of the time and the other half of the time had fun eating candy and socializing with other kids (like Mormish Mom’s kids!). My youngest son was enthralled with the Kirby game and my youngest daughter just loved jumping on the bean bags. I heard from several blogging friends that this was the best event they had attended in quite some time because it allowed them to socialize while the kids were occupied. Perhaps when my youngest is older and can have longer than a 2 second attention span I’ll feel the same. Ha!
Amazing Activities to Celebrate Kirby!
Nintendo and KidzVuz went all out for the Kirby Robobot event. There was a screen print make-your-own-tshirt-station, a candy station, divine food and even visits from Kirby himself. I tried my best to avoid the candy filling station, but much to my chagrin it was darn near impossible. I’m pretty sure my kids could find candy even if it was buried 100 feet underground. They sniff it out!
I highly enjoyed the t shirt screen print station, it was so cool to watch the process. Each of my kids had the opportunity to pick their own colored Kirby t shirt design and they’ve worn them to bed every night since the event. I love take away souvenirs like that. Lunch was catered by Mendocino Farms, my all time fav. I engorged myself with the deliciousness while I could.
Selfie Time!
The Nintendo Kirby Robobot event was highlighted by a visit from Peyton List, Spencer List and Phoenix List. Peyton List is best known for playing Emma Ross on the Disney Channel comedy series Jessie and Holly Hills in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid film series. I even caught Peyton and Spencer taking a selfie with Kirby!
Thank you KidzVuz and Nintendo for a wonderful event to experience the all new Kirby Robobot game! And stay tuned for a game review coming soon!
