Last Saturday my boys and I headed far west to Angel Stadium (who am I kidding…we could have walked there!) to watch Monster Jam. It was an evening full of big ups and big crashes by big trucks! My boys love watching Monster Jam on TV and I had the opportunity to surprise them with tickets to see the action of Monster Jam at Angel Stadium up close and personal. Honestly, anytime I can see my family smile makes me the happiest mom and wife around. It was an evening full of fun! We received media tickets, all opinions are ours alone.
The excitement was in the air at the Angel Stadium of Anaheim on Saturday January 14th as some of the top Monster Trucks in the Monster Jam franchise wowed the audience with crazy cool driving skills. This was my second time watching the Monster Jam action in person and I have to say, the drivers of Monster Jam have really upped the audience “wow” factor. I mean, they went all out driving like they had nothing to lose. I got really into the action and so did my boys!
Monster Trucks in attendance included: Grave Digger ® driven by Adam Anderson; Max D™ driven by Neil Elliott; El Toro Loco ® driven by Marc McDonald; Monster Energy driven by Damon Bradshaw; Team Hot Wheels ® Firestorm driven by Scott Buetow; FS1 Cleatus™ driven by Colt Stephens; Bounty Hunter driven by Jim Creten; Time Flys driven by Kelvin Ramer; Wild Flower driven by Rosalee Ramer; Razin Kane driven by Buddy Tompkins; Ice Cream Man driven by Roy Pridgeon; Scarlet Bandit driven by Dawn Creten; Obsessed driven by Eric Swanson; Obsession driven by Rick Swanson.
Grave Digger is always a fan favorite, but I was really surprised to see how fast Razin Kane was and how daring FS1 Cleatus was! FS1 Cleatus crashed early into the evening, went to get fixed up and came back to the show with a vengance worth seeing! Driven by Colt Stephens, the FS1 Cleatus knew they had nothing to lose and he really went for it and attempted the crazy high jump that leads to a back flip. I’ve never cheered on someone so much before in my life! Our entire seating section stood on their feet and roared with cheers!
Before the big show my boys and I got to attend the Monster Jam Pit Party. This special experience is a must because you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with the trucks that will be racing in the show. Not only that, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet the drivers and get autographs! My husband was geeking out over Max-D and the Hot Rods trucks.
There are still 3 more Monster Jam shows coming to Anaheim, so get your tickets today before they sell out!
