We can deny it all we want, but the holidays are right around the corner and that means holiday card season is upon us now. Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or any other holiday in December, crafting a holiday card takes time and effort. I like to use our annual Eaglin family Christmas cards as a time to celebrate the very best of us. That means, perfectly planned outfits, coiffed hair and bright smiles (even if it kills me).
I have been pondering my children’s Christmas attire for about a month now. This year, my daughter will have an elaborate preschool Christmas program and I would like to dress all four of my children in a more formal-than-usual, color coordinated, perfect outfit. Also, this is our first year as a complete family and that makes these cards extra special to me. The most extra special holiday cards come from an extra special stationary company.
Get Minted.
Minted crowd-sources design and art from a global community of independent designers, then sells their best designs as fine products such as stationery, wall art, and décor for the home, holidays, and occasions. The vast array of products available on Minted are gorgeous, but the holiday cards available at Minted are extra extraordinary. Nothing says “Have a Blessed Holiday” like designer gold, shimmering foil. I am obsessed – obsessed – with the 2014 foil-pressed holiday card collection at Minted.
After much online shopping research, I have concluded that I would like to do a red and black formal theme this year complete with red silk organza dresses for the girls and bow ties and suspenders for the boys. Check out the collage I created below to get a visual.

From left, Zulily (main red dress), Zulily (peter pan collar), Kohls (bow tie), Kohls (black oxfords, Janie and Jack (black bow dress shoes)
Help Me Choose Our 2014 Minted Holiday Cards
I like both of the red dresses in the collage for the girls, but I’m going to keep looking for a red silk organza dress with cap sleeves. The boys will be wearing black slacks and long sleeve white shirts with their dress shoes and suspenders. I’ll be taking a picture of the kids in their Christmas outfits in front of a great big, giant, gorgeous Christmas tree at a local outdoor shopping mall. With those Christmas details in mind, please help me choose our 2014 Minted holiday cards!!

numero tres
Number 3 for sure!
First or third!
I vote for the second one. I think it will nicely accent your color theme. Happy Holidays!
I heart #3 – they are all super cute
Number 2, if you just want one person in the photo. I love the sparkles! But #3 family pic is priceless
My vote is for #3 too! 🙂
I love option 2! I’ve never seen one like that before. It’s unique and REALLY cute. Love that it’s simple and focuses on the picture. I’m also a sucker for sparkle!
I love how custom and unique these all are!
I like #2 because I am partial to full-photo cards that have a little flourish.
I like #2 ’cause the focus is on the picture. I don’t like #3 ’cause I don’t like the saying “Happy Holidays”
’cause if you’re setting is a Christmas tree than why not say “Merry Christmas” – I’m strange that way. LOL
Sparkling frame!
Mint has some beautiful cards. I ordered some from them not too long ago.
Minted creates such classic and memorable products. I am always impressed by the product a customer ends up with. I’ve had some awesome items to share with my family and friends.
I like #3 myself, but the second is a close, well, second!
I vote for Option #2! I like how the cut frames the image.
Love #2!
