I remember the very first time I stepped foot into a Best Buy store. It was in the late 1990’s – a few years after the popular chain opened. I walked into what felt like a field of rows and rows of CD’s. That image of an abundant field of technology has stayed with me ever since. Even though times have since changed and CD’s aren’t the hot ticket anymore, Best Buy stores have still remained a abundant field of technology. What was once a field of CD’s is now a mix of smart phones and accessories, gaming, cameras, televisions, appliances and really, any other tech gift you can think of.
Whenever it becomes gift giving time around here, I always head to Best Buy to pick up the best and latest tech gifts for my husband. Who, is a supremely difficult person to shop for. I’m not sure if it’s because he is picky, doesn’t ask for anything specifically or goes ahead and buys himself whatever he wants (or a combo of all 3!) but shopping for him is a pain. Like, in the butt.
Thankfully, I know that Best Buy will always have something that will make him smile come Christmas. This year to make it extra easy, I chose to purchase him a gift card from Best Buy. I mean, it really doesn’t get any easier than that.
And I’m aaalllll about easy.
Shopping at a Best Buy store in person is always convenient, I personally prefer to talk to a customer service representative in person rather than online. Especially when I’m making an important purchase. And Best Buy’s always have a plethora of blue shirted employees eager to help. In fact, I popped in to my local Best Buy just the other day to pick up my husband’s gift card and other awesome techy stocking stuffers and despite my best attempt of a “keep away from me face” I was asked by blue shirted Best Buy employees if I needed any assistance at least 4 times. True Story.
I was able to pick up some pretty awesome stocking stuffers for both my husband and I. I’m all about the not-so-average trinket type gifts for our Christmas stockings. I picked up some Dodgers headphones for my man and a camera/smart phone cleaning cloth for me. When I was shopping around I came across this awesomeness in the home appliance section. I mean, how have I lived without it for 32 years?
That’s right, it’s a hot dog pop up toaster. Life doesn’t get easier than having your hotdog and your bun done and cooked at the same time.
