It’s no secret that I absolutely adore the Irvine Park Railroad and that I hold a special place in my heart for the genuine family wholesomeness it provides. We’ve been going to the Irvine Park Railroad for Easter, Halloween, Christmas and plenty of times in between since 2007.
Every Spring when the weather couldn’t be more perfect in Orange County than it already is, the Irvine Park Railroad throws the biggest, the best, the most fun Easter EGGstravaganza around. There are egg hunts, gigantic cookies to decorate, train rides, face painting, carnival games, bounce houses, hay rides and thousands of sweet picture opportunities. Not to forget the best, sweetest most wonderful Easter bunny!
I love going to the Irvine Park Railroad holiday events because it’s a genuine good time and so much better than seeing a stuffy bunny inside of a stuffy mall.
We visited the Irvine Park Railroad Easter EGGstravaganza just yesterday and I just couldn’t wait to share a few of my favorite pictures of our day (which are owned by DesireeEaglin.net © and if you steal them I will cut you). We had such a wonderful day, the kids were on their best behavior and because they were being so well behaved I let them eat as much candy as they wanted. Crazy? Absolutely. But it made for sweet candy induced memories as well, that I will treasure forever.
We did every activity the kids wanted to do too, we saw the Easter bunny (which my daughter was terrified of even though she had been talking about seeing the Easter bunny for a few days), we ate huge cookies, we played carnival games, we rode the train, we found lots of eggs in the egg hunt, we ate lunch, we fed the ducks and we even made an excursion to the Orange County zoo for a bit. It was a full morning full of memories and I loved every moment of it.
The Irvine Park Railroad Easter EGGstravaganza is going on now every day until March 30th (my birthday!). I highly suggest you go and create some wonderful memories of your own.

I was invited as a guest to the Irvine Park Railroad Easter EGGstravaganza. All eggtastic opinions are my own.
