The Irvine Park Railroad is one of our favorite places on earth and we loooove spending time there. Sarcastic boy even had his “whole hand” birthday party there this year which was extra special. The Irvine Park Railroad is an extraordinary place full of fun activities that create childhood memories. I love that the Irvine Park Railroad is so special to our kids and I. We have been going to the park for holidays and other special occasions since 2007.
The Irvine Park Railroad hosts their annual Easter EGGstravaganza every year and it is a ton of fun. There are loads of fun activities to do such as:
Face painting
Train rides
Bunny Jumper
Pictures with the Easter Bunny
Egg Hunt (for kids ages 2-12)
Cookie Decorating
Hay Rides
Carnival Games (where every kid wins a prize)
and more!
We went to the EGGstravaganza last Friday and we had a ton of fun. This was funny girl’s first year partaking in an Easter egg hunt and although she was more interested in eating the candy, she had a ton of fun. Of course my son had a blast at the EGGstravaganza this was his 4th year going! We did just about every activity that was offered: we visited the Easter bunny, rode the train, hunted for eggs, decorated gigantic and delicious cookies, rode the hay ride, ate lunch from the snack bar, played carnival games and my son got his arm painted (in lieu of a face painting); it was fun.
The Irvine Park Railroad Easter EGGstravaganza is going on now until Saturday April 7th 2012. I highly suggest you make the trip out to the EGGstravaganza. This experience is so much more enjoyable and wholesome than seeing a stale Easter bunny at the mall.
You can log on here for money-saving coupons. Also don’t forget to bring your own Easter baskets for the egg hunt.

We went as guests on behalf of the Irvine Park Railroad and owner/operators John Ford and Steve Horn. I was not compensated for this post, all opinions are my own. I sincerely love the Irvine Park Railroad and we go every Halloween, Christmas and Easter, but being a guest this year was super nice too 😉
