Take Me Out To The Ballgame…

“Take me out to the ball game
Take me out with the crowd
Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks…”

Baseball has played a major role throughout American history and can unarguably be labeled as “America’s favorite past time”. Going to a game at Dodger Stadium is special. There is a type of nostalgic magic in the air and the fans are like non-other in the world of sports.

Dodger Stadium was carved as it is into the hillside of Chavez Ravine overlooking downtown Los Angeles to the south and the San Gabriel mountains to the north. The stadium officially opened on April 10, 1962, and has ever since welcomed fans from all over the world. Because of it’s revolutionary design and strategic architecture of being built into the side of a mountain, fans are able to park and enter at their ticket field level rather than climb a bunch of stairs. This is just one of many interesting facts I learned during our Pregame Tour of Dodger Stadium. If you have the chance to take the tour, I think you should!

Smart & Final To The Rescue!

When I’m in the market to save time and money I shop exclusively at Smart & Final. Smart & Final, like the commercials say is the “smaller, faster grocery warehouse store” and by golly if this busy mom of four with little time to spare, could totes use not only a faster warehouse store, but also a more convenient and easier store as well. Like you, I have very little time to shop and therefore I require stores that are easy to shop and easy to manage. I don’t have a lot of time to waste and I certainly do not have a lot of money to spare. I know that Smart & Final has my back on both accounts.

Smart & Final + Dodgers Stadium

My husband and I were recently invited to attend a Dodgers game at non other than the infamous Dodger Stadium. And the first thing in my mind was “gah! what about the cost of food??”. Everyone knows the cost of stadium food at any sports arena can be crazy.

THEN I learned that the Dodgers Stadium ALLOWS OUTSIDE FOOD!

What a game-changer! Many people don’t know this — but you actually can bring your own food items to a Dodger game! It’s been the stadium’s best kept secret….until now.

Listen to this – YOU can save time and money by bringing in your own favorite snacks and recipes into Dodger Stadium! No longer will you need to wait in those crazy food lines just to pay $25 for a nachos! You can bring in your own food!

And there is no better place to shop than at your local warehouse grocery store, Smart & Final. I loaded up, and I mean LOADED UP in preparation for our upcoming Dodger Stadium visit. I know that those prices can be outrageous and with 4 crazy kids at home, we don’t have a lot of change to spare. However, I know that my husband is a huge fan of the infamous Dodger dogs, and so we’d just have to invest in a few. However, our sweets and our snacks could be covered for so much less with my shopping trip to Smart & Final! I call that a win-win!

And that, my friends is how you can save time and money at Dodger Stadium!

My husband and I had a crazy good time celebrating our latest “date night” at non-other than Dodger Stadium. We indulged on our snacks that I brought from home, along with Dodger dogs and beer! It was such a fun evening!! I made these crazy good sandwich rolls for a hearty snack too. You can check out my sandwich rolls recipe here!

To learn more, head on over to Smart & Final.
