Best Animated Film Of All Time? You Be The Judge!
Quite possibly the best Disney animation film yet to date, Frozen is released on DVD/Blu-Ray nationwide today. Winner of two academy awards including Best Animated Feature and Original Song (“Let it go”), Frozen has frosted the country with it’s heartfelt story line, magical Disney wonder and original musical scores. This the first animated feature Oscar win for Walt Disney Animation Studios in the category’s 13-year history. I received a copy of Frozen to facilitate this review, all opinions are my own.
Frozen is a classic for all ages and is bringing Disney Animation back on the forefront of Animation technology. Alan Horn, Chairman of The Walk Disney Studios had this to say about Frozen:
With ‘Frozen,’ we knew we had something truly special on our hands, and it has connected with fans and filmgoers around the world in a way we only dreamed was possible.”
Frozen Has A Heartfelt, Endearing Storyline About Sisterhood, Loyalty And Love
Fearless optimist Anna sets off on an epic journey, teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom. The film is directed by Chris Buck (“Tarzan,” “Surf’s Up”) and Jennifer Lee (screenwriter, “Wreck-It Ralph”), who also wrote the screenplay. It is produced by Peter Del Vecho (“Winnie the Pooh,” “The Princess and the Frog”). Featuring original songs from Kristen Anderson-Lopez (“In Transit,” “Winnie the Pooh”) and Tony winner Robert Lopez (“The Book of Mormon,” “Avenue Q”), and an original score by Christophe Beck (“The Muppets,” Oscar-winning short “Paperman”), “Frozen” opened in theaters nationwide on Nov. 27, 2013. Accompanying “Frozen” is Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Get A Horse!” With Walt Disney himself as the voice of Mickey Mouse, the all-new short features Mickey, his favorite gal pal Minnie Mouse and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow as they delight in a musical haywagon ride.
Some Movies Are Worth Melting For
Hands down the best animated movie of 2014, Frozen is a family favorite in the Eaglin household. I was lucky enough to attend the Frozen press day at the Walt Disney Animated Studios in Burbank before the films release. That experience alone was magical and really uniquely special but for the experience to also have been about Frozen made it something I will seriously never forget.
If you haven’t seen Disney’s Frozen yet, you absolutely, truly, hands down must purchase it today!
