Missy started Preschool yesterday. I was more nervous about her starting Preschool than I was when my oldest started Preschool a few years back. I mean lets be honest, I cried like a baby when he went to school on the first day but I was less sad and more nervous for Missy. I was nervous that she would cry, I was nervous that she wouldn’t have the courage to make friends and I was nervous she would scream too much. Thankfully, she did none of these things and other than requiring her teacher’s assistance to walk her to the bathroom she did wonderfully. Which is a huge relief.
On the car ride home after her first day of Preschool, Missy had a lot to say. Amongst the hundredsofthousandsofmillions of things she had to say about her first day of school, this funniness stuck out the most to me:
“I played with baby dollies and I have a boyfriend!”
Although this picture isn’t the best quality and I have many, many more better quality photos taken with my real camera, this quick and blurry snap was taken with my mobile phone mere seconds after she proclaimed she had a boyfriend at school. Because, I mean…I die.
