Fascinating Connection
The very core of the social human is the same for each of us, we are social creatures that require connection, through touch, interaction and emotional connection. However and most awesomely fortunately, what makes life so fascinating is that each of us have different Human Experiences and when we are able to gather collectively and share those experiences with one another we are not only connecting with other humans on a deeper connected social level, we are also broadening our own perceptions of life. In other words – great things happen when we share our stories!
On Stage Since 2008
Expressing Motherhood is a on stage show that has been showcasing people sharing their stories about motherhood onstage since 2008. The show was built for the non-famous, non-published, the person dying to get out and express themselves. In each Expressing Motherhood show, the cast consists of around 10 people, each with a different story, each with a different point of view, each with a different and fascinating Human Experience. I have been to a few Expressing Motherhood shows, one for a girls night out and one to see my friend Kim of House of Prince perform. Each time I went it was incredibly moving, touching and wonderful and I couldn’t recommend it more.
Unique, Homespun Vibe Connecting People Over Motherhood
The Expressing Motherhood show has built a large community in Los Angeles and across the nation. The communal, unique vibe of the show has struck a chord with moms and theater goers of all types. The show is going into its 9th year beginning in 2016. Around 8,000 seats have been filled to see the show, 200 people have performed in it and countless spirits filled because of it.
