‘Twas the Night Before Christmas…
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse…well except for mommy and daddy frantically searching every junk drawer and cupboard for spare batteries for the kids new toys from Santa because in the tornado busyness of the season mommy forgot to pick some up from the store. Has that happened to you like it has to me? I have to be honest, I get so wrapped up in getting the perfect gifts for each of my children: a karaoke machine for my son, a purring cat for my daughter (both of which require tons of batteries) that I totally forget to pick up the most important ingredient to a perfect Christmas: Duracell batteries. Doh!
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there…
It was Christmas 2012 and it was an epic disaster of battery forgetfulness. On top of forgetting to purchase batteries for the toys I purchased my children for Christmas, they also received other gifts from family members that required batteries as well. It was truly a recipe for kid melt down disaster. Thankfully, a convenience store was open and epic failure was diverted. However, that fateful Christmas taught me a big lesson to always have batteries on hand for emergencies. Some times those emergencies may be a kids birthday, but sometimes those emergencies may be a big power outage. Whatever the case may be, it is totally smart to have packs of Duracell batteries on hand.
Powered UP
Ever since a fateful 2012 Christmas battery-forgetfulness disaster that was totally all my fault (it was just the busyness of the season!) I have learned to power up Christmas and stuff their stocking with a healthy amount of the best kind of batteries there are: Duracell batteries. Duracell batteries last longer than any other battery, thus saving me time and money. From storm season to medical needs to the holidays, Duracell is the #1 trusted battery brand of first responders, pharmacists and parents, so you know it’s a battery you can trust. This Christmas, you can bet that each of my kids are getting stockings chock full of Duracell batteries this year!
