We went on our first-ever family vacation last weekend. It was a short trip, just a one-nighter to be exact, but that was all I needed. Or rather, could handle.
There was no cable, there was no tv reception, there was no easy-to-please children and there was one big grumpy husband. Worst of all, there was no wi-fi except for one corner of the kitchen in which I had to hide in to connect to the outside world.
I’m not real sure if you can read between the lines all that well, but this first-ever family vacation was a tiny bit of my own personal hell.
Come socially-acceptable-time-to-drink-hour I came to realize that there was also no ice. So momma got creative and momma had to do what momma had to do to get her drink on.
That’s snow in my glass ya’ll.
Yep, snow. It’s ok, I googled if snow was safe to eat just a few moments ago. To save you some time, no it isn’t really that safe to eat. It’s full of bacteria, just like dirt is. But WHATEVER because I got my drink on with Kahlua, milk and snow and it made the verrry long evening of our first-ever family vacation tolerable.

The alcohol killed any bacteria
