To mark the 30th anniversary of Camp Snoopy at Knotts Berry Farm – the little kid focused favorite has been refreshed with 3 new rides, new landscaping, new covered seating and more.
It was some 30 years ago that my father in law helped build the original Camp Snoopy, far, far, far before I met my husband of course. My husband remembers the days that he went along with his father to the job site at Camp Snoopy to “help”. I remember visiting Camp Snoopy when I was just a little girl too. When given the opportunity to attend Camp Snoopy at Knotts Berry Farm to check out the new rides along with my children, I jumped at the opportunity. All opinions are my own.
Classic Camp Snoopy Rides:
Along with the 3 new Camp Snoopy rides, the classic favorites that my children love and adore so much are still up and very active. We had to ride each of them during our visit. Of course.
3 New Camp Snoopy Rides
The 3 new rides at Camp Snoopy are called the Linus Launcher, Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer and Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies. They are exciting, safe and great modern additions to Camp Snoopy.
Linus Launcher
Although my children were too timid to ride Linus Launcher during this visit, I know that when they do ride it they will love it. On the Linus Launcher, the rider lies down and rides as if on a magic blanket through the air.
Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer
Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer is a large swing set that gently glides through the air. I didn’t ride it myself, but it looked quite relaxing from below.
Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies
By far this was my children’s favorite new ride at Camp Snoopy. Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies went around in circles and up and down. My kids and Mrs. Wonder’s son laughed and squealed.
Along side the 3 new rides at Camp Snoopy, more landscaping has been added such as hard rockscaping along the bridge, covered picnic benches have been added too. Visiting Knotts Berry Farm and Camp Snoopy is one of my favorite things to do in Southern California, it is always so beautiful and we always have a great time.
