The Heart and Spirit of Christmas
Christmas is my favorite holiday of the year – I love everything about the holiday from the music to the baking to the crisp smell in the air. But above all else I genuinely love the heart and the spirit of Christmas and the feeling of love and togetherness that the holiday provides. For me, the heart and spirit of Christmas comes from family traditions is something my children and I can look forward to every year. I adore all of our favorite family traditions – like watching the sunset from the pier on Christmas eve and eating our Christmas morning casserole on Christmas day and of course watching the joy in my children’s faces as they open #NorthPoleFun Christmas gifts. Christmas really is the ideal time of year to have family traditions that instill magic and wonder in children’s eyes.
Holiday Spirit and Spreading Cheer
This Christmas will be especially meaningful to our family because we are finally a complete family with four kids and two parents. To make this inaugural complete family Christmas extra special, I wanted to introduce my children to extra magical toys that will help bring the magic of Christmas to life in an extraordinary way.
The Hallmark channel, which has been a huge proponent for enhancing love and connection over the holidays will be premiering all new original family movie “Northpole” on Saturday, November 15th 2014. Northpole is about the spirit of the season and one boy’s journey to save Christmas. Big chain retailer Walmart, is busy stocking Northpole toys on shelves across the country to help families bring the magic of Christmas to life. Select stores across the country will have a huge array of Halmark Northpole toys to choose from, such as Once Upon A Northpole Christmas story book + Find me Santa Snowflake, a Magic snowball (that glows when you throw it!), a Northpole Communicator (talk directly to Santa for the entire month of December!) and so much more!
Building Anticipation
I headed to my local Walmart where I purchased the Northpole Christmas story book and Find Me Santa Snowflake, several Magic Snowballs because I thought they were too soft to resist and a Northpole Communicator. My 4 year old and my 2 year old got to try out the Northpole Communicator early, they were barely able to contain their excitement. Staring on December 1st, families are able to talk to the North Pole and have conversations with Santa himself! I cannot wait to start this tradition with my children, I think they will love it.
I also picked up the Hallmark Northpole “Once Upon A Northpole Christmas” story book with “Find Me, Santa! Snowflake”. My daughter “read” the story to her little brother and it was so sweet. We have a family tradition of setting out reindeer food for Santa’s reindeer to eat, and I can’t wait to include the “Find Me, Santa! Snowflake” to our tradition. The snowflake lights up and helps attract Santa to your door!
New Magical Traditons
I look forward to many years of bustling, busy, loud Christmas’s with traditions that will inspire the magic of the season and the feeling of togetherness with my kids. Now with our new Hallmark Northpole toys, they will each be able to be inspired by the magic of the season with fun and unique toys.
