The Story of Chocolate Love
After we purchased our first home in 2009 we knew that it was finally time to get a dog. We knew at that time that whatever dog that we adopted into our lives would be a special addition to our little family of three. My son was just about two years old at the time and my husband and I knew that we would essentially be adopting his life-long furry friend. We adopted a special little chocolate lab from a local rescue and immediately named her Hershey. She was a unique blend of obedient and fast puppy energy and she fit into our family perfectly. Through the next several years our family grew and grew (and grew!), Hershey grew along with it. She has been a constant companion to my children and I. She is sweet, loyal and very calm. In the past 8 years we have moved back to our hometown and we have even adopted another Labrador. However, Hershey is our first dog baby and the star in our family just like the stars are in the Beverly Hills Dog Show Presented by Purina. This is a sponsored post, all opinions are our own.

Post a picture showing how your pet is the star of your family using the hashtag #BHDogShow and tagging @Purina. For every original post submitted from April 10 – April 23 that includes @Purina and #BHDogShow, Purina will donate one dollar (up to $25,000) to the Leader Dogs for the Blind — a global organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
