It’s Fall!
With the Fall season comes some of my favorite things. Such as cooler weather, Fall baseball, my favorite foodie holidays and best of all – the back to school season. However, the cold and flu season that comes alongside Fall and the back to school season isn’t always so pleasant. The busyness of the Fall season is a period of time where we’re starting new routines, meeting new people and getting exposed to new germs. I’ve learned through the years that I must be proactive and prepared for whatever life throws at me. Whether it may be a cold or flu or a sorely stretched muscle or dry, chapped lips. I stock up on items like Advil and Chapstick that help my family feel better when sickness and soreness strikes.
Fall Ball & Vital Stretching!
Between all the activity of Fall baseball and back to school we’ve already experienced a few mild colds and sore muscles. My oldest son is an avid baseball player and he loves playing during Fall ball the most. However, the cooler weather usually means tighter muscles and he has a proclivity to injuring his back. Be it nine years old or not, the kid has a bad back (haha). After a visit to a sports medicine specialist we learned that stretching before every game and practice is key. Below are a few of our favorite vital stretches.
Stretch #1
Stretch those gams! Or calves, thighs and lower back muscles if you will. In baseball there is lots of bending and squating!
Stretch #2
Stretch your arms. With all the throwing and catching of the sport of baseball you need warmed up arm muscles!
Stretch #3
Touch your toes. This is a great easy stretch for stretching your long back muscles. This one helps him the most. Only go as far as you can, don’t push it!
Stretching is a vital part of any physical activity. Even though it’s my boys that are playing Fall baseball, I stretch before heading out the door as well. I have learned that the above stretches help me too. Stretching makes my muscles warmed up and ready for the long days ahead of me. For the days that I need a pain reliever, I always choose Advil Liqui-Gels because Nothing’s faster on tough pain (Among OTC pain relievers. Use as directed).
Proactively guarding against the illness and sore muscles associated with the Fall season is best by stocking up on Advil Liqui-Gels from Walmart. We head into Walmart regularly to stock up on a wide variety of products. It’s a great place to shop for a large family like mine.
Do you ever get dry lips? It seems as though the Fall season is an avid lip motion stealer (haha!). That’s why I stock up, and stock up heavily on Chapstick! It’s skincare for lips™ that leaves mine feeling smooth and moisturized.
What is your favorite Advil or Chapstick proactive product to purchase from Walmart?

Great tips! I always forget to have my son stretch before heading out the door to practice. Sometimes they do it as a team, but I’ve not found that to always be the case. And, I could always use a stretch before the walk to the fields! #client
