Sometimes when I’m chained to my desk under deadline lock-down (like this week in particular) I need a serious brain break or two to get my head clear. I love, love, love watching animal videos. It’s the unpredictability and innocence of the animals that gets me hooked every time and I usually end up watching the live cam for much longer than anticipated.
Animal Planet L!VE is offering animal loving viewers a unique opportunity to view amazing, exotic animals from around the county on one of their 11 live cameras. From tropical fish, insects, birds, penguins, puppies, kittens, ants, cockroaches (icky!), calves, baby chicks, Japanese sea nettles and owls. Take my word for it I have viewed each of these videos (even the creepy cockroaches inside a doll sized kitchen eeek) and they are each truly captivating!
A few of my personal faves:
Pacific Reef Cam – the Pacific Coral Reef Cam is hosted at National Aquarium, Baltimore.
Blue Cavern Cam – at the Aquarium of the Pacific, one of my favorite So Cal places to visit.
Piranha Cam – Piranha Cam is hosted at ATM in Las Vegas, home to the Animal Planet show Tanked, I love that show!
Puppy Cam – because awww.
Kittens Cam – because awwww I want a kitty!
Cockroach Cam – seriously icky, but facinating to watch. Located at Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium in New Orleans.
Sea Nettles Cam – wildly hypnotic. Located at the Vancouver Aquarium.
Animal Planet L!VE currently is available across desktop and mobile platforms at APL.TV and on Samsung Smart TVs, and will be coming to Roku and Xbox LIVE in the coming months.
