My kids are too little to understand most April fools jokes and although I have seen some great ones like mashed potato ice cream cones and frozen cheerios cereal, honestly my kids ages 8, 4, 2 and 1 years old would simply not understand the humor in those pranks. I think they would be totally confused and probably get pretty upset. So instead, I opted for a lighthearted and funny prank that I knew they would not only understand, but find hilarious. And they did!
