Years of Tradition and Fun
We’ve been going to the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch for what feels like forever now. I am a huge, huge fan of what the Irvine Park Railroad is providing to Southern California families. As an advocate of fun family bonding, I feel as though there’s no place else like the Irvine Park Railroad where families can get together and have an experience quite so wholesome. I urge everyone I run into in my daily life to go and I’ve created hundred of Irvine Park Railroad fans throughout the years. But I’m not trying to be obnoxious, so instead of harping on how awesome the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is, I’ve created a list of 5 reasons why everyone should visit the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch instead (in no particular order). And I’ve included tons of cute pictures of my kids too. Enjoy! We received tickets for review purposes, all opinions are our own.
5 Reasons To Visit The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch
1. Carnival Games
Although we’ve been going to the Irvine Park Railroad since 2007, it wasn’t until about 2011/2012 that we started playing the carnival games. Now the carnival games are my kids absolute favorite and I don’t mind the cute prizes they win. My favorite Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch carnival game is the one where everyone wins a mini pumpkin. The mini pumpkins are so cute!
2. Panning For Gold
My oldest child’s favorite Irvine Park Railroad event activity is the panning for gold. Now my younger children love it too. It’s a really neat experience for them and they love collecting the “gold”.
3. Face Painting
My 7 year old daughter lovvvves getting her face painted. Ever since she was old enough to walk she has had a hello kitty face paint design done. It’s quite adorable!
4. The Pumpkins
The pumpkin selection at the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is out of this world fantastic. I love every single pumpkin I come across and it’s difficult choosing one to take home! This year we chose a bright red pumpkin because we’ve never seen one like it before!
5. The Cookie Decorating
Cookie decorating is another one of my favorite activities during the Irvine Park Railroad events. Although it’s messy and the colored icing has a tendency of getting everywhere, the kids love it. And I love giving them the opportunity to really go wild and have at it. Craziness is good in moderation!
The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is open everyday until Halloween. Most activities require 1 ticket, some activities (like the face painting) require more. Log on to the Irvine Park Railroad website for more information.
