Last week I was invited to attend the 2nd annual Tour de Fork foodie event at Victoria Gardens. Seeing that I am huge advocate for all things Inland Empire, I happily accepted the invitation and I brought my husband and baby along with me as my dates. All opinions are my own.
Tour de Fork is a food, wine and craft beer tasting event at Victoria Gardens which features local restaurants, wineries and breweries for adults 21+. The event is a wonderful opportunity to taste what local Inland Empire restaurants are creating all in one place. Victoria Gardens is a upscale open air shopping center and the perfect locale for such a event. Although the Inland Empire is stereotypically sultry in the summer (just ask my AC bill), Rancho Cucamonga in the evenings is just lovely.
Laid out on main street, the eating and drinking extravaganza that is Tour de Fork is a perfect date night opportunity. The event typically runs about 2 1/2 hours in length ending at 8pm which is perfect for walking around the shops after the event.
The finest thing about Tour de Fork is that 100% of the events proceeds benefit three local charities: Rancho Cucamonga Community & Arts Foundation, Rancho Cucamonga Library Foundation and Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care & Services.
Highlights of the 2nd annual Tour de Fork for my husband and I included Hangar 24 brewery out of Redlands, Slaters 50/50 crazy good Peanut Butter and Jelly and Bacon hamburger (which sounds crazy but it was so good), BRIO Tuscan Grill fresh brushetta, Toby Keith’s I love this Bar and Grill’s pulled pork sandwiches and of course the deliciousness that is N7 creamery.
Check out my pictures of the 2nd annual Tour de Fork in the slideshow below and I hope to see you there next year!
And lastly, my dates who were more into each other than they were into me. I wore the baby and my husband couldn’t get enough of her.
Victoria Gardens always has somethng fun going on, to check out what’s fun and up next head on over to the Victoria Gardens Event Page.
