Go Pro
The popular pro golf tournament, the Toshiba Classic is coming back to Newport Beach Country Club from March 7th through the 11th. Families throughout the southland are invited to “go pro” and join in on the family fun during the 23rd annual Toshiba Classic. My rowdy family and I will also be there as well, I’m excited to see the slow golf clap in action. This is a sponsored post, all opinions are my own.
Pro For A Cause
This year will mark the Toshiba Classic’s 23rd year in Orange County. In celebration of such a long standing tradition, the Toshiba Classic will open with a slate of new programs designed to enhance spectator experience and will also feature a powerful PGA TOUR Champions lineup competing for the $1.8 million purse. That’s a crazy amount of money!!
This year’s event will be held March 7-11, 2018, at Newport Beach Country Club (may I be honest and admit that I’m just as excited to roam the halls and hobnob with OC’s finest as I am to see the slow golf clap in action?). The Toshiba Classic has become the most philanthropic PGA TOUR Champions event by raising over $20 million, including more than $1 million annually for Hoag Hospital’s Mary & Dick Allen Diabetes Center, military causes and other community charities. Now that’s Pro For A Cause!
The Swingin’ Pro’s
The Toshiba Classic brings players with more than 400 worldwide professional victories and over 50 major championships to Southern California. In its history, the Toshiba Classic has hosted 40 PGA TOUR Champions members in the World Golf Hall of Fame, many of whom are still actively competing. Golf legends like Fred Couples, crazy-pants-wearing John Daly and Bernhard Langer will be in attendance to swing some clubs!
The Toshiba Classic is a great event for families
