The day of love
Valentine’s day, the most commercially romantic day of the year, is just around the corner and if you’re anything like my husband and I you’ve “been there and done that” with expensive, over crowded restaurants that serve limited menus on Valentine’s Day. Having celebrated several years in overcrowded, overpriced restaurants, my husband and I have started a new tradition of making a romantic & sexy meal at home instead on Valentine’s Day.
What makes a meal romantic? Any meal from potatoes to lobster can be romantic, it mostly depends on the ambiance and the mood and less on the actual food. Go with your budget and break out those candles for some ambiance!
What makes a meal sexy? A sexy meal in my opinion is one that is rich and decadent in flavor, usually eaten with your hands or slurped up with a spoon and has a nice, creamy aftertaste. I know what you’re thinking and you’re right. I have thought a lot about this.
